Tim qualified as a solicitor in 1990. He is a partner and road transport law specialist, primarily in the field of operator licensing and court/ public inquiry advocacy. In the last few years he has specialised, although not exclusively, in road transport law having previously concentrated on court advocacy as a criminal litigator since becoming a solicitor. His background in criminal law has proved valuable in representing operators and drivers at public inquiries before Traffic Commissioners and in the Magistrates and Crown Courts. Tim also is a regular contributor to commercial and legal journals in the road transport sector. He has Higher Rights of Audience in the criminal courts.
