Nicola is expert in resolving the issues that arise on marriage, civil partnership breakdown or where couples stop living together for which she offers the traditional court method of dispute resolution, as well as Collaborative Law.  As well as dealing with divorce/dissolution of civil partnerships and financial settlements arising from them, she advises on pre and post marriage agreements, living-together agreements and financial planning to avoid the worst consequences of divorce.

Mediation

As a mediator Nicola facilitates discussions between couples to bring them to agreement with each other in relation to the issues relating to their children and finances that arise on relationship breakdown.

School Appeals Service

Nicola advises parents how to appeal against the decision of the admissions authority as to their child's school place.  This may involve the preparation of the appeal notice, analysis of the grounds of appeal, preparing necessary documentation and representation before the appeals panel or simple, straight-forward advice.
