Barker Gotelee expands commercial law team

We are delighted to welcome experienced commercial lawyer, Victoria Spellman, to the Barker Gotelee team.

Victoria brings to the firm a wealth of experience helping businesses with their varied legal issues. For example, business start-ups, trading terms, website compliance and business sales and purchases.

Victoria has a particular interest in intellectual property and data protection. She aims to assist clients with protecting and exploiting their intellectual property, such as their business name, trading style and expertise by providing licence agreements and confidentiality agreements and providing advice on third party use of their intellectual property.  She may also help clients to understand and comply with their data protection obligations by clearly explaining those obligations, providing clients with tailor made data protection policies and procedures and assisting them with subject access requests and data security breaches.

Victoria will be working with the corporate and commercial team within our Business Services department, alongside commercial law specialists Clare Richards and Liz Gifford.
