Barker Gotelee sizes up legal team with three new members
Barker Gotelee Solicitors has expanded its team with the appointment of Ann-Marie Matthews in the Private Client team, Daniel Fairs in the Property team and Jane Haviland Webster, who will be working with the Business Services, Private Client and Property teams.
As a Solicitor in the private client team Ann-Marie will undertake all areas of private client business, but has a particular focus in dealing with high net worth estate planning issues and care fees – including NHS continuing care claims and the protection of vulnerable adults. She is a member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Solicitors for the Elderly.
Daniel joins the property team as an Associate Solicitor, specialising in commercial property transactions, and has experience in both residential and commercial property aspects. He is a committee member for the future lawyers of Chelmsford and Colchester (FLOCC), and a previous committee member for the Suffolk and North Essex Junior Lawyers (SNEJLD).
Joining the firm as a Trainee Solicitor, Jane brings a wealth of business expertise to the firm, having accumulated over 25 years’ project management experience in a variety of sectors both in the UK and overseas. Jane holds a LLM in Environmental Law, as well as a distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law and a commendation in the Legal Practice Course.
Barker Gotelee’s Senior Partner, James Skellorn, said: “Now in our twenty first year, we’re continuing with our programme of steady growth across the firm. We’re delighted to welcome Ann-Marie, Daniel and Jane to our friendly and professional team here at Barker Gotelee.”
