Gail Frankland
Gail joined Barker Gotelee in 2012 as a solicitor in the private client department. Gail qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and for a large part of her career worked as an associate solicitor in the tax, trust and private client team of a well-regarded West Midlands law firm. Gail specialises in the following:-
- Wills, succession and asset protection
- Inheritance tax planning
- The creation and administration of trusts, including personal injury trusts
- Elderly clients
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate
Gail has also worked as a locum solicitor and practice support lawyer for a leading private client law lecturer preparing lecture papers and legal articles, and is a contributor to the Trust Practitioner’s Handbook (4th Edition). Gail is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and has pledged to become a Dignity Champion, working to achieve care services that are compassionate and person centred, as well as efficient.
Gail also works for Parish Signpost and The Elfrida Society as a volunteer, befriender and advocate for the elderly and vulnerable.
