Lindsey Sharples joined Barker Gotelee in 2013, as a solicitor in the private client department. Lindsey qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and has strong local ties, having studied Law at the University of East Anglia before completing her training and post qualification experience at a Norfolk-based firm from 2005 onwards.
Lindsey specialises in the following:-

- Inheritance Tax planning
- Court of Protection work including Deputyship applications and ongoing administration of Deputyships
- Powers of Attorney
- Creation and administration of trusts
- Elderly clients
Lindsey is a fully qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners having completed the qualified practitioner route to full membership in December 2014. Lindsey is also a qualified CRUSE bereavement counsellor (non practising) and on the rota for Age UK’s free legal advice surgery, as well as a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly. Lindsey has also taken the pledge to become a Dignity Champion.
Lindsey is often praised for her approachability and ability to explain legal matters in “plain English”. The Legal 500 2012 reported that Lindsey is “excellent at explaining procedures”.
