Making or reviewing your Will during the COVID-19 pandemic

We all intend to keep our affairs in order and up to date, but in ordinary times find that the day to day stuff gets in the way. Many of us now find our diaries emptying and we have time for those things we have been meaning to do. One of those jobs is making a Will or reviewing your Will to make sure it’s up to date.

Making a Will can be a simple process, but there can be complications and pitfalls: tax, pension nominations, inheritance act claims. When we make a Will for clients, our aim is to make this as clear and straightforward as possible for the client. We will advise on your options, planning opportunities, and any possible complications.

During these difficult times, our team of 16 solicitors, lawyers and support staff is working remotely and in the office when necessary, in accordance with government guidelines. We are speaking to clients by facetime, whatsapp video call, telephone – whichever way helps us best to understand our clients’ wishes and concerns, with a view to making or reviewing your Will. We can work with you by email, phone, facetime or skype and then prepare your Will and, once you are happy, arrange for you to sign it.
