Sam Ellis


Sam qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and has 17 years’ experience in family law.  Sam is an Associate Solicitor joined the firm in 2023.  Sam previously worked for firms in Suffolk and Essex gaining vast experience in all aspects of family law including:-

-Divorce and financial issues arising from divorce

-Legal separations

-Pre and post -nuptial agreements

-Cohabitation disputes and Cohabitation agreements

-Disputes involving children

-Domestic violence and injunctions

Sam is a member of Resolution and committed to take a constructive and non-confrontational approach to her cases, whilst seeking the best outcomes for her clients.

Sam acted in the reported case of RM WP [2024] EWFC 191 (B), in which His Honour Judge Hess confirmed that there can be multiple former matrimonial homes in matrimonial finance proceedings and that the court should steer away from developing a concept of ‘un-matrimonialisation’.
