Sam Welham

Sam Welham qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and joined the firm in September 2024. He is an Associate Solicitor in the Business Services Team, and specialises in employment law. Sam is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Sam acts for both businesses and individuals. His work includes:

• Unfair dismissal
• Discrimination
• The employment aspects of business transfers (TUPE)
• Contract disputes
• Post termination restrictions (restrictive covenants)
• Grievances
• Disciplinaries
• Stress at work claims
• Settlement agreements

Much of Sam’s work involves matters that are, or could be, the subject of an Employment Tribunal claim.

Sam also provides ongoing support to businesses on contracts, policy documents, and day to day HR matters.
