We give advice in plain English. We're here to help.

Things do go wrong at work and unfortunately you may have to enforce your rights at the Employment Tribunal.

The claim you make is normally against your employer, or former employer. However, you can also make a claim against your managers or colleagues, where they have been responsible for an act of discrimination.

There are strict deadlines for issuing Employment Tribunal proceedings. Once a claim has been made, you will be expected to comply with the Employment Tribunal procedural rules, and with any orders that are made.

If your claim is for discrimination or whistleblowing, then at an early stage, it is likely the Employment Tribunal shall list your case for preliminary hearing.

If you decide to make an Employment Tribunal claim, then it is time to seek reassuring professional advice. Our Employment Team is experienced at dealing with Employment Tribunal claims and we can help you navigate the process. We shall advise you upon the merits of your claim, and whether you should consider fighting, or try to negotiate a settlement. We shall give you sound and pragmatic advice to achieve the best possible outcome.
