Barker Gotelee Strengthens its Teams with Key Promotions
Leading regional law firm Barker Gotelee has announced a significant round of promotions demonstrating its commitment to investing in its people and consolidating its expertise across key practice areas.
With effect from 1 April 2026:
- Three senior lawyers, Lindsey Ottywill and Kiri Nichols (both Private Client) and Sam Read (Property & Estates), become Partners of the firm, marking an important step in their careers and an investment in the future growth of the firm;
- Sue Wardropper is promoted to Director of Family, where she will continue to lead Barker Gotelee’s highly regarded Family Team, supporting clients across a wide range of sensitive and complex matters;
- Laura Veal, Niki Cawthorne and Penny Gordon (Residential Property) and Katrina Drake (Private Client) have all been promoted to Associate roles, while Hayley Wintrup (Private Client) has been promoted to Senior Caseworker.
These appointments reflect Barker Gotelee’s continued commitment to developing talent from within and recognising and rewarding employees’ contributions to its key services thereby ensuring clients continue to benefit from experienced, forward-thinking legal support.
